BHC Summer Missionary 2009

Will this be YOU next summer?

Baltimore County  

   You can see that Baltimore County surrounds the city and the BHC chapter surrounds the belt-way. This is a very heavy populated area.

   Jeremiah Shelton is a faithful young person who gave his summer to serve God. He worked in the Baltimore County and Baltimore City areas along with two other summer missionaries from other areas.  They were Faith Ho and Lindsey Rowell.  They reached many children with the Gospel and saw many children trust Jesus as their Savior. A complete report of how many children were reached and how many children trusted Jesus as their Savior is available under Summer Missions.

   We are also looking for individuals who are interested in helping with the After School Good News Clubs which will be held during the school year.

   The following schools in Baltimore County will be locations for After-School Good News Clubs starting in October:  Edmondson Heights Elementary, Dogwood Elementary, Fifth District Elementary, and Sparks Elementary.  There are one or two more that have been targeted to have one this fall.

Harford County

   Pray for us as we seek to expand ministry into Harford County this school year. Pray specifcally for the following:

• An open door into at least 3 public elementary schools
• Churches to adopt each school
• Individuals who will be willing to teach at each school
• More finances for the ever expanding ministry
• Praise for Donna Birkmaier who has started a club at North Bend Elementary School this past fall.  It will be sponsored by her church, Emory United Methodist.

   We do not have much activity here yet. But we want to.  We are praying for churches to adopt a school GNC®.
