State Missionary Field Worker for Southern Maryland -- Christine Reiser

According to the CEF of Maryland boundaries, Southern Maryland includes: Charles County, Calvert County and St. Mary’s County

The ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in Southern Maryland is still conducted under the auspices of the State office, but we are hoping in time to charter our own chapter.
To do this, we need to:

Establish a committee of five or more individuals who are willing to commit to guiding the development of CEF of MD in the Southern Maryland area
Establish a consistent ministry for both the after school Good News Clubs and the Summer 5-Day Club programs
Establish a solid financial base of regular monthly giving from both churches and individuals

Currently, we are working towards establishing Good News Clubs in both Lexington Park and Greenview Knolls Elementary schools, but it is slow going, because we need permission from the individual schools and a team of teachers/helpers to run these outreaches…training is available to all who are interested.

Our strongest outreach so far in Southern Maryland has been the 5-Day Club ministry. This year, we have two weeks set aside for booking 5-Day Clubs

July 28-Aug 1 and Aug11-15, 2008 is open if you live in Southern Maryland and would like to have a Bible club near you
Aug 4-8, 2008 is reserved for SASYF Bible church
