Introduction To Our Ministry
Child Evangelism Fellowship®, also known as CEF®, is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization composed of born-again believers whose three-fold purpose is (1) to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, (2) to help them grow spiritually, (3) and to channel the children into a local church for Christian living.
CEF® is ministering in 158 countries of the worlds with over 1,200 missionaries overseas, approximately 1,000 of whom are nationals. In the USA and Canada 700 full-time workers and an estimated 40,000 volunteers serve the ministry. Read about the history of Child Evangelism Fellowship® here...
CEF® of Maryland is a growing ministry. Right now we have six full time staff on our team and are seeking to establish the ministry on a firm foundation in the organized chapters and then to establish the areas of Maryland that are not chartered. We are looking for additional full-time staff and an army of volunteers to join us in reaching the boys and girls. Our main ministries are the Good News Clubs® and the 5-Day Clubs®.
Good News Clubs® are held in the schools, in homes or wherever children can be gathered to learn about the BIBLE
The Supreme Court ruled in 2001 in Good News Clubs® v. Milford Central School that Good News Clubs® can meet in public schools after school hours on the same terms as other community groups.
