How Can You Help?

Volunteers to share the light:
Pray

Willing to pray on a regular basis for the children to know Christ
Would like prayer requests sent ( Day By Day requests for the State of Maryland)
Join the prayer sessions from 9:00-10:00AM on the first Friday morning of each month at the state office.
Join the prayer group in your area for the CEF Day of Prayer in November.

Serve on the committees in each area – committees are responsible for the CEF ministry in their chapter seeking opportunities to share and promote the ministry of CEF throughout the Christian community stressing the spiritual needs of children

Good News Club^® Ministry- Equipping Sessions are scheduled to equip all volunteers

Serve as a volunteer coordinator for a team willing to teach a club from your church
To help teach a Bible lesson during club
To help teach missionary lessons during club
To teach the memory verse
To lead the Good News Club songs during Club.
To help as a small group leader (coach)
Help to provide a treat

5-Day Club^® Ministry (July 7 - August 15)

Willing to serve as a coordinator to set up a week of clubs as a mission outreach form my church (Three to four clubs a day) for the summer missionaries to come and teach.
Willing to host a 5-Day Club at my home or in my neighborhood.
Willing to help transport a team of summer missionaries for 1 day or more.
Willing to furnish lunches for the team of summer missionaries while they are teaching in my area.

Camp Good News^® (June 22-28)

Help clean Camp Hidden Valley June 12 or 13 before we move in for training school
Help in the kitchen
Help clean cabins, etc right after the closing program (Saturday June 28, 10:00 AM can start earlier)
Serve as life guard from 1:15-4:40 daily during camp.
Serve as a counselor, 15 years old and up and must attend Counselor orientation-June 20, 21, 22 AM.

Financial gifts: (Giving on-line is now available)

For support salary for a present staff member
For general fund support: Insurance to cover all the school clubs, camps, 5-Day Clubs, fair ministries, etc. plus paper, ink, copiers, electric, gas, water, sewage.
For ministry needs –

Rental of a classroom in an elementary school (cost varies)
Refreshments for the children at GNC
Mileage expense
To sponsor or help sponsor a child to attend Camp Good News (total cost $235)
To sponsor or help sponsor a staff member to teach at Summer missionary training school and Camp Good News ($500.00)
Help support a summer missionary: ($625 cost for training plus additional salary)

Summer Missionary – Serve as a paid or volunteer to teach 5-Day Clubs during the summer. Training required

As soon as funds become available (which you can help raise) the following positions are needed and available:

Full time Coordinator for the Good News Club Ministry
Full Time Coordinator for the 5-Day Club Ministry and Special Events such as one time Party Clubs, children meetings during Adult Retreats, other children meetings.
Greater Baltimore Workers– a team of workers are needed for
