Training or “equipping” volunteers to do ministry
Equipping Sessions – for volunteers who can help with the After-School Good News Clubs.
These consist of a total of four or five two-hour sessions scheduled here at the state office or at churches who are adopting an Elementary school to conduct a Club. Those who are teaching during the club will want to take or four sessions. Those who are helping with small groups will want to take the first two sessions.

On-Going Good News Club Teacher Training
These are conducted on a regular basis during the school year while the Good News Clubs are being taught. Encouragement and help is given to the volunteers who are teaching and helping.
The curriculum for 2008-2009 is Elijah, Elisha, Esther and Daniel
Teaching Children Effectively™ Level 1 (TCE™) - is not on the schedule yet. Let us know if you are interested and we will arrange a class.

Summer Missionary Training School-June 15 - 28 – to prepare committed young people and adults to spend the summer teaching the children through the 5-Day Club® Program. The initial training starts Sat. June 7 for one day at the CEF State Office. The additional two week training takes place at Camp Hidden Valley (June 15-28) for two weeks of overnight training. First year missionaries will be taking the TCE course with additional classes. Qualified second year missionaries will have advanced classes as well as Club preparations. They will have the choice of serving as Camp Counselors during the second week.
